Questions, answered

Before you begin.

I'm not good with Excel or spreadsheets. Will I mess it up?

No. Every cell you're allowed to type in is color coded, so you always know exactly where to enter data. The formulas do the thinking. If you can type a number, you can run this system.

Do I have to keep two separate things updated, one for daily, one for monthly?

No. That's the whole point. You log once, in the daily log built into the planner. That same entry feeds your monthly plan automatically: your Planned vs Actual, your status flags, your Surplus or Deficit line. One habit, not two.

My money is spread across M-Pesa, three banks, and a SACCO. Will this even work for me?

That's exactly what it's built for. Every account connects into one system, so your real financial position updates the moment you log a transaction, no matter how many places your money lives.

I've tried budgeting before and quit within a month. What makes this different?

Most templates make you plan once and then track by hand, so the plan drifts from reality and you give up. Here, tracking and planning are the same action: log a transaction and both update. There's nothing separate to fall behind on.

What if I fall behind and don't update it for a few days?

The system doesn't punish gaps. Log a week's worth of transactions in one sitting and every report updates instantly. You're always just one entry away from being fully caught up.
